2011 Toyota Sienna Review

Since 2004 Toyota has been releasing yearly editions of this luxury minivan, which has become a formidable contender of Dodge and Chrysler minivans in recent years. The newly redesigned Sienna boasts a sportier look with improved driving dynamics.

The exterior and interior styling of the vehicle has also been improved, with the inside being more modern in shape than it’s predecessors. With huge door pockets, multiple glove boxes and 10-12 cup holders, it is easy to see why this minivan is hailed as being the perfect car for families.

The interior of the vehicle is abundant in space, and more room can be made instantly by folding the seats into the floorboard. All of the seats are very well-padded with adjustable backrests, and even the third-row has ample leg spaces, which is a rare feat in most minivans.

Some models even come with recliner seats on the second row that include footrests. There is also an optional rear seat entertainment system that utilizes a 16.4-inch split monitor that supports dual input capabilities. A single visual input can also be stretched to fill the entire widescreen monitor.

Aside form the luxurious additions to the Sienna, this year’s model is also more fuel-efficient, getting 1 MPG more than its last predecessor. The Sienna also handles better than ever before, with a sleeker aerodynamic design that is one inch lower the previous editions. With all of the new features and adjustments, it is easy to see why this minivan has become a formidable competitor to the Dodge Caravan.
